Hi Cindy! Yes, worsted weight yarn would work great too! I would use a 5mm crochet hook instead. You’ll end up with a larger shawl because of the thicker yarn and larger hook, but the good thing about this pattern is that you can stop whenever you’re happy with the size. 🙂
