I have had a friend and niece to try to teach me crochet but I believe they would have been successful in their classes thru taught if they would have done like you did. Your tutorial was the best. Plus thanks for the scarf tutorial showing the weaving in.

Hi Abigail, are you holding the yarn too loosely? Try wrapping the yarn around your fingers a bit more to create a firmer tension. Also, make sure the hook is pointing downwards when you pull it through the loops. Hope this helps! 😊
